Dr. Sheinkop has pioneered many developments in joint replacement including new prosthetic designs, navigation and minimally invasive surgery during the past 35 years. In early 2008 Dr. Sheinkop accepted Professorial Emeritus status and chose to direct all of his effort to the private practice of joint replacement. While still involved in outcomes research endeavors and international orthopedics, he has undertaken the redesign of the joint replacement delivery system with an emphasis on long term patient satisfaction, short term hospitalization and rapid recovery.
