She left a comfortable salaried existence to turn pro 5 years ago, following her passion into Obstacle Course Racing, competing in some of the world’s toughest events all the while building a movement on the side, Dirt in Your Skirt, for aspiring female changemakers who, like her, wanted to go out and make a ruckus.

She has taken on some of the sport’s toughest events, let me read them to you: Death Race, 5x World’s Toughest Mudder, and Survival Run in Nicaragua. She also helped found the Spartan Chicked movement with over 15,000 members today. She’s written for Outside and been featured in a half dozen other magazines, is editor in Chief of Mud Run Guide, named One of the 50 Most Influential People in OCR.
