Michael Lewis, MD, MPH, MBA, FACPM, FACN, is the President of the Brain Health Education and Research Institute, which he founded upon retiring from the US Army after a distinguished 31-year career. Dr. Lewis has years of experience developing programs for the military on the use of omega-3 fatty acids and traumatic brain injury and suicide prevention. His work has been featured on CNN’s Sanjay Gupta, MD show, numerous radio and television spots, and around the world at scientific and nutritional conferences, where his insights and pioneering work have impacted thousands of lives. He is in private practice in Potomac, MD, and is the author of the recent Amazon #1 top seller book, When Brains Collide: What every athlete and parent should know about the prevention and treatment of concussions and head injuries.
