Nathan sits down with Kyrun Silva and Ricky Eaddy of Big Tree Comics for the sixth episode of the Finding Sacramento podcast. They chat about why Ricky’s comic career has been a reinterpretation of his ultimate dream of being a kindergarten teacher, why an artist, who is ultimately fearful of showing his or her work in public, ultimately just has to get over it because most people will be supportive, why being able to look at something you have physically created out of thin air is the best feeling in the world, how Kyrun found himself pursuing a career in professional wrestling and whether he ultimately won the title match he participated in, why the day to day of a call center beat them down enough that it gave them the confidence to pursue what they love full time, why if you love something enough you will find time in your day to pursue it, how they take an idea and develop it until a full length comic, and why when you first start selling your creative work its more about your personality versus the actual product.

Finding Sacramento is a podcast about Sacramento entrepreneurs, musicians, artists, and chefs and how they found their ‘roots’ in the City of Trees.
