AT and Paul sit down with fellow weirdo, Brianne Kostielney! Bri read The Tick back in the 90's, but hasn't been back to the wonderful world of comics much since! We gave her Mockingbird (by Chelsea Cain) as her reintroduction and see what her feelings are on having a strong female character in comics to look to, the social commentary made in comics, and talk about where her nerd lives!

Have you read Mockingbird yet? What were your thoughts? Do you wants an "Ask me about my feminist agenda" t-shirt too? Let's hear from you in the comments!

The Boys Pick's of the Week!

A.T.'s Pick

The Flash #26 (By: Joshua Williamson / Artist: Howard Porter)

"Thawne. Ho-ly shit Thawne. We all know how homicidal he is (Ex.A - Nora Allen), but showing Barry and Iris what becomes of their kids?! That's a whole new level of messed up! This issue just needed "Cat's in the Cradle" playing in the background. Also... Holy Beard Barry! I love it. More bearded super heroes! Then I don't have to cosplay as a villain any more! Loved this issue so much! Don't want the arc to end!"

Heath's Pick

Red Hood and The Outlaws #12 (By: Scott Lobdell / Artist: Dexter Soy)

"For me, it had all parts of a good story. Mystery, action, humor, and of course lots of emotion; especially with call backs to objects such as the plush Superman. And Jason bending down upset that he just lost a friend. it was easily my favorite of the week and goes to show you how powerful comics can be. Loved it!"

Paul's Pick

(By: Dennis Hopeless / Artist: Harvey Tolibao)

"The tone of it is my fav. And, a drunk Odinson doing what Odinson does best, beat on goblins!"
