I spoke with Tayo Adetoye in mid-June, right around the time Claude Pue was released. When we spoke, I was most interested in his story and experience. I wanted to know more about how he became a fan of the Southampton Football Club, what drew him to pick the Saints over all of the other possibilities in World Football. What became clear as we spoke was Tayo’s passion for the club. I hope you enjoy the interview, and I hope that in this time of relative uncertainty with our captain, the board, and so on, you can take some solace in knowing that we, as fans, can support one another, and that we can share in Tayo’s passion for the club.
