In this episode of What's Up Omaha, I'm talking about how history was made with the Papillion La Vista High School Girl's Wrestling Team being the 1st ever girl's team to win the championship. This after recently becoming sanctioned. The girls work hard too and deserve more spotlight. It isn't just the media that I feel hasn't fully noticed, but the sport itself seems to still be behind because it is so new.

I do understand that there was coverage of the girls, but my feeling is that there is still a discrepancy. I do appreciate the outlets that did make mention, write articles or post on social. Every little bit does help. Thank you!
