Caught early, skin cancer is highly treatable. This is why – as a dermatologist – I want you to understand how to monitor changes that might occur on your skin. Of course, prevention (AKA proper sunscreen and sun-protective clothing application) is better than cure. Despite our best efforts, however, prevention isn’t 100% guaranteed.

So, as part of my series for Skin Cancer Awareness month, let’s dive into the visual clues we need to look out for (with the 3 most common types of skin cancer) and how to prevent precancerous growth from fully developing into skin cancer.

IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT:

  • When to go to your Dermatologist for a skin evaluation
  • How skin cancer starts and progresses – AND how it can be treated
  • Risk factors associated with skin cancer

RESOURCES:

  • Wanna know how to better protect your skin from skin cancer? Go grab my Skin Must Haves guide today!
