Hello Listeners! Welcome to MindCraft, a podcast series dedicated to tackling the pressing mental health challenges faced in schools today. In this episode, our hosts Ákos and Vanchhit talk to Marucia, an experienced vocational and clinical psychologist, researcher, and therapist; as she explains how to develop mental health literacy in the classroom, and how to deal with panic and anxiety attacks, among other mental health first aid skills.

We have divided the discussion into three parts, each of them answering questions and discussing topics such as:

Part 1:

- “What is mental health literacy, why is it important, and how can teachers make sure they hone this skill?”

- “How can teachers ensure they have tools to understand the challenges and address them when students need support?”

- “How to build a good attitude with mental health and challenges?”

Part 2:

- “How to help out someone in a vulnerable mental health health state?”

- “What tips to keep in mind when helping someone with mental illness?”

- How should one react if someone near them has an anxiety or panic attack?”

Part 3:

- “How to ensure you can provide the best circumstances to someone suffering from mental health challenges?”

- “Creating the balance between helping others and protecting your own mental wellbeing.”

- “A short list of solutions for people facing serious and urgent mental health difficulties.”
