You hear you should eat nutrient-dense food right? But what does that mean? We have been so programmed to read the nutrition label but it's become more about the ingredient list! I felt like it was time to share the 4 important ingredients to avoid when purchasing food in the grocery store! And why is everyone talking about whole nutrient-dense foods?

Nutrient Dense Foods Are...

Produce • Meats • Seafood • Eggs • Dairy(some exceptions) • Olive/Avocado Oils and Herbs

This is how Dr. Terry Whals put it " We need to eat in a way to support how cells run the chemistry of our lives." Food provides communication for our bodies to carry on life-sustaining processes. I explained how food is your super weapon but keep in mind we can use it to further our health goals or let it be our demise. But don't get me wrong I'm not on the podium teaching perfection...towards the end of the episode I share how I am not perfect all the time and meal math. Meal math? Yup listen to better understand!
