We bounced around with several different topics in this episode, from putting out fires (literally), to moving cows, and communicating with each other through it all. Ultimately, we want to remind you HOW essential good, quality communication is - during busy seasons, slow seasons, and every season in between!
In this episode, we cover:
- A recent, high-stress situation dealing with 2 fires close to where we live
- Ways that we stay in communication with everything going on during calving season
- What calving season has looked like for us regarding communication, preparation, method, etc. so far
- Why we tend to communicate more often during calving season
- Creating a shared note that can be sent to others you’re working with + doing a daily debriefing with each other after taking care of the cows
