Hey there, fellow surfers and beachgoers! Ready to catch some waves and soak up the sun? Let's dive into the surf zone forecast for Southern California:
Starting off with Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches, we've got a high rip current risk today, so be extra cautious out there. The surf height is 3 to 5 feet with a mix of south and west swell. Tomorrow, the rip current risk drops to moderate with 2 to 4 feet surf height. Looks like a good day to paddle out!
Moving on to Ventura County Beaches, we're seeing the same high rip current risk today with 3 to 5 feet surf height. Water temperature is a bit chilly at 60 to 62 degrees. Tomorrow, the rip current risk decreases to moderate with 2 to 4 feet surf height. Stay safe and have fun in the water!
Heading towards Santa Barbara County, the southwestern and southeastern coasts have a low rip current risk today with 1 to 3 feet surf height. The water temperature is a bit warmer at 62 to 64 degrees. West swell is rolling in for a pleasant day by the beach. Tomorrow, the same low risk continues with 1 to 3 feet surf height - perfect for a relaxing day in the water.
Lastly, San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches are looking at 3 to 6 feet surf height today with a west swell. No thunderstorms expected, so it's looking like a great day to catch some waves. Tomorrow, expect similar conditions with 3 to 6 feet surf height - a solid opportunity for some epic rides!
Remember to always be mindful of the rip current risks and enjoy the beautiful California coast safely. This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a Swell! Thank you for listening.
