In fact, in the 1960s, only one in twenty women were diagnosed with breast cancer; today that number has risen to 1 in 8 women. So we have to get a handle on this. Among breast cancer cases, only 5 percent to 10 percent are related to genetic defects, while 90 percent to 95 percent were attributable to lifestyle factors like diet, weight, toxins, sleep and stress.
