A conversation between Robert Goldberg, MD, and Roger Dailey, MD, FACS. Since the FDA approved Restylane in 2003, the popularity of dermal fillers has grown steadily. As the use of such fillers increases, the likelihood a clinician may face an associated complication is also higher. Dr. Roger Dailey of the Oregon Health and Science University shares his approach for preventing and addressing these complications, which include granulomas, infections, and the most worrisome, vascular necrosis.
