Tonight on the Mommy Monday Show we continue to talk about the safety and health of our children with the help of an organization called "Hope For SMA". As one of my best friends just gave beirth hours ago to her 3rd healthy baby girl, I reflect with joy about my own pregnancy. My husband quickly snaps me out of it. My pregnancies, and the invetro process was not good at all. But when a woman finds out she has a possitive test result, "I'm pregnant!!", nothing can go wrong that day. For my guest tonight, her family went through the elation of her daughter's pregnancy, and birth of her grand daughter, and then the heart-wrenching events that came to follow, that lead to eventually losing their precious baby girl. Meet Julie Prendiz. Hear their story. Find out what the #1 genetic killer of infants is. How to detect it. How you can help other families suffering. What we can all do to make sure we find a treatment and a cure. All links and websites mentioned in this interview will be posted in my blog for #iHeartMoms.
