After a brief vacation, Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo are back and better than ever (of course they'd say that). During their break, asininity in the sports world was at a premium, as usual. In a shocking turn of events, the Kansas City Royals rolled through the American League to reach the franchises first World Series since 1985. Will a third championship (2010, 2012, 2014?) make the Giants a dynasty? What is it about this team that becomes a winning cockroach in the postseason? With some moving parts, who are the "faces" of this potential Giants dynasty? The NHL is underway. Which teams have significantly improved? Are there some perennial contenders that will disappoint (cough, Detroit Red Wings)? Ole Miss and Mississippi State are both at top of the college football rankings. Yes, you read that right. Did Notre Dame fall into the driver seat for a playoff spot? HBS radio gold has returned, as the Howitzer and Buzz-saw conquer sports radio, one day, at a time....
