Omar Djoeandy is a Chinese Australian who was born in Indonesia. He studied Medicine in Sydney and Theology in Kenya. He has worked as a General Practitioner in Sydney and as Associate Pastor at Nairobi Chapel, Kenya, where the church grew from 800 to over 2,000.
During that time, Omar Djoeandy published his book “Redefining Success” (2002). He has served as the National Director of an Australian mission agency called “Serving in Mission”, since 2004.
He is passionate about raising a generation for global mission, especially among the peoples of Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, and Thailand.
