1 Peter 2:11 – 25. A church can be a place where 20% of the people do 80% of the work. In the church, we need to be a place where 100% of the people do 100% of the work. We are a people living between birth and death, as Christians we are exiles (we are out of place in this world) and we are Gods’ not our own. God has called us to live for others; to serve and minister to the world. We are to fill that 100% of kingdom work. We are called to serve others, love others and share the Gospel with others. While some may be called to preach and teach God’s word, all of us are called to share the Gospel. With our hands and our mouths, we serve and teach to spread God’s word to the world. Peter calls us to be a light so that all who see our good deeds may one day bow before the Lord in worship.
