Anjali Pinto is a photographer based in Chicago, Illinois who focuses on editorial, commercial and documentary projects. Anjali met her husband on Instagram in 2012, and in 2015, they were married. Jacob passed away suddenly on New Years’ Eve 2016, and Anjali spent the year that followed vulnerably documenting her process and her grief, and powerfully posting on Instagram every day for a year to remember Jacob and all that he was. This discussion on the role of sex in grief was recorded via Skype.
