In today’s episode we take a look at what functional medicine is and discuss how this approach differs from conventional medical practice of relying heavily on prescriptions to treat symptoms. This approach of multiple prescriptions, while sometimes helpful in triage, sometimes create other secondary problems that can be as debilitating as the original symptoms.
