Film Analysis:
After the Greed killing Somerset & Mills ponder over the meaning of the wife’s eyes having the glasses placed on them, ultimately arriving at the idea that there’s something she’s supposed to see but hasn’t seen yet.
In a light visual callback to the wife’s photo, we can see that Mills is now framed with his eyes in the cage, a subtle foreshadowing that there’s something that he hasn’t seen yet.
