Today, we sit down with Vava Angwenyi, founder and CEO of Vava Coffee. Vava Coffee is a Kenya-based coffee company on a mission to help support Kenyan coffee farmers. When she set out to start her company, however, she not only faced resistance from her family, but also from Kenyan culture at large.
