This week's Geektown Radio podcast is a bit of a bumper edition, mainly due to the avalanche of news last week courtesy of New York Comic Con. We cover all the new trailers and news from the various panels, plus the regular tv news and UK tv premiere date information. If that wasn't enough, we also have an exclusive interview with Emmy-winning Sound Re-Recording Mixer, Andy D'Addario.

Andy D’Addario was nominated this year, previously won two consecutive Emmys for his sound mixing on the brilliant Amazon series 'Mozart in the Jungle'. He is a veteran of the industry and has worked on tv shows such as 'The X-Files', 'Transparent', 'Hawaii Five-0', and 'Alias'. His film work includes the 'Rush Hour' and 'Scream' films, 'Reality Bites', and 'Wedding Crashers'. In the interview, we chat with Andy about what his job entails, working on such a complex show as 'Mozart in the Jungle', along with a number of his other series, and generally about his work in the industry over the past 35 years.

Also On This Week's Show:

I'm joined by a one-armed Ross in the co-host seat this week, so we chat about games we've been playing, tv shows and films we've been watching since he was last on... and why he is mostly armless...

We run through all the news from NYCC, including the trailer releases, and announcements from the panels.

We take a look at all the latest tv & film news, including renewals & cancellations.

We give you our recommendations for upcoming TV in the next 7 days.
