An unlikely team up between Penguin and Selina and a fistfight between Eduardo and Jim we chat all about it in our Gotham 506 Review of "13 Stitches" with our Top Five case notes. This is a spoiler filled discussion so as always make sure you've watched the episode before listening to the podcast. Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) and Ed Nygma (Corey-Michael Smith) team up again and Magpie (guest star Sarah Schenkkan) Gotham 506 Review "13 Stitches" Synopsis Directed by: Ben McKenzie Written by: Seth Boston Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) is pursued by Ed Nygma (Cory Michael Smith), but not as we know him, for Ed has a chip in his brain and is controlled by Eduardo Dorrance (Shane West) and his boss Theresa Walker (Jaime Murray). As Ed corners Jim some quick thinking, and a handy defibrillator, allows Jim to stop Nygma in his tracks and destroy the chip in his brain. Back at the G.C.P.D. Lucius Fox (Chris Chalk) removes the chip and extracts evidence of Eduardo and Walker’s criminal attack on Haven. Meanwhile, to stop “team good guy” Eduardo reveals that he has Leslie Thompkins (Morena Baccarin) in his possession and threatens to kill her if Jim doesn’t trade Ed and his brain chip. As the two former allies face off, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee), Lucius and Barbara Kean (Erin Richards), armed with evidence from Ed’s brain chip work together to broadcast the evidence to the outside world and with a little help from Nygma retake control of the G.C.P.D. Elsewhere, Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) is having a bad day and is forced into a team up with Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) against a new thief in town, Magpie (Sarah Schenkkan), as Oswald reveals his plan to leave Gotham. Gordon beats Eduardo in their hand to hand battle leaving him impaled on a rebar. Jim brings Leslie back to the Precinct where Lee is activated as Walker’s plan B assassin, but some quick thinking by Jim and a handy live electrical cord saves Jim and Leslie. While Jim is celebrating saving his ex fiance's life another former fiancee, Barbara Kean, reveals that she is pregnant with Gordon's child. Meanwhile when Alfred returns to his and Bruce’s spare apartment he is kidnapped by Jeremiah as part of a dark and dastardly plan to be executed at Wayne Manor.
