HEESCH – Tim Akkerman staat tien jaar op eigen benen. Hij verliet de Haagse rockband Di-Rect in maart 2009. Van die band was Tim Akkerman tien jaar de voorman. Hij zit dus twintig jaar in het vak. En 2019 is ook het jaar van zijn derde solo-album. Alhoewel solo; Tim Akkerman werkte voor ‘Lions Don’t Cry’ samen met The Ivy League.

Opnieuw laat Akkerman een van zijn inspiratiebronnen doorschemeren; in dit geval Pearl Jam. Voorganger The Journey verried juist Tims voorliefde voor Bruce Springsteen. Met Tim Akkerman sings The Boss toerde hij ook langs de Nederlandse theaters, waaronder op vrijdag 15 maart 2019 in De Pas in Heesch.
