Hello everyone, welcome to our week in Geek!
The Summer continues to blaze past us with another tent-pole movie and next weeks Phoenix Fan Fusion. But before we get into that we get to gush about John Wick 3! We also have a number of fun nerd news, our streaming review of The Danish Girl and answers to last week’s podquestion of “which death in the MCU did you feel the most?” Be warned that our answers do dip into spoiler territory.
This week we watched another movie from our backlog with The Danish Girl on HBOgo. First off, Eddie Redmayne’s performance is simply fantastic. But not just his, the acting in this movie is top notch. Watching the story of people, and seeing how they evolve through the movie is truly a sight to behold. There is so much to love about the movie as it really challenges the audience. While this is not going to be a repeated viewing sort of movie it is definitely one that we highly recommend you give a shot.
No streaming review for next week because it’s Phoenix Fan Fusion!!! We are super excited to see you all there and hope you can attend one of our 3 panels. You can also follow our fun by one of our social media channels below:
