Genesis 37:1-4 A study published in the journal Basic and Applied Social Psychology found that three-fourths of individuals (79 percent of women and 74 percent of men) reported envying someone within the previous year. Younger people (under 30) were more likely to admit to feelings of envy than older people. And people were more likely to report feelings of envy towards their peers rather than towards outsiders.
