From immigrant to foreign diplomat—a Jamaican-born American shares her voice on what shaped her and why she is motivated to launch a podcast especially now, when the globe is under the biggest challenge of a century, the Coronavirus. She reminisces about her immigrant family and early years growing up in a large family in Brooklyn, New York, and attending City University of New York with 4 other siblings also in the system at the same time. She also attended Columbia where she studied Political Science. Through the thick and thin of sacrifice, hard work, and forbearance by her blue-collar parents, she succeeded to become a contributing American citizen, entrepreneur, and senior diplomat representing her native land, Jamaica.
