The Lamanites are furious that the Nephites are offering sactuary to Ammon&Co's converts. War breaks out, lots of people die, and Alma laments his inability to change the world.
 
Ammon and his brothers take their Lamanite converts to the land of the Nephites. On the way, they run into Alma, ending the flashback we've been in for the last several chapters. The Nephites give them the land of Jershon.
 
Ammon is all fired up about the work he and his brothers have done among the Lamanites. Aaron accuses him of bragging, but Ammon can't help himself. He's bubbling over with joy and gratitude for the blessing of the Lord.
