Esta pudo ser la primera copia que se realizó del famoso cuadro de Leonardo, se cree que pintó a la vez por uno de los alumnos del maestro florentino. Su estado de conservación, la viveza de los colores y su fortuito descubrimiento prometen que se convierta en igual de mítica que la original.

Es una obra de Leonardo da Vinci en la que se aprecian las características de su pintura marcadas en este cuadro de temática religiosa. Si nos fijamos en la cara de Santa Ana es muy parecida a la enigmática Gioconda.
