This podcast is about healthy holistic lifestyle, positive mental attitude and all related subjects, such as Yoga, Martial Arts, Meditation, Nutrition, Fitness, Music, Eastern Philosophies, Oriental Gardens and many others. Eugene Sukhorukov spent 30 years studying Martial Arts, Yoga, various meditation techniques, Zen meditation music and many other disciplines. Co-host will be invited periodically as experts in some fields we will be discussing.
 
Lacquerware techniques were established in Kyoto during the 9th century, on the basis of Chinese techniques introduced from the Tang Dynasty. During the 16th and 17th centuries, the division of labor progressed in the lacquerware industry, which began thriving with the boom in the tea ceremony. Lacquerware products primarily made of wood(Japanese cypress, cedar, horse chestnut etc.) are used as tableware, furniture and tea ceremony utensils.
 
The Book of Tea was written by Okakura Kakuzo in the early 20th century. It was first published in 1906, and has since been republished many times. - In the book, Kakuzo introduces the term Teaism and how Tea has affected nearly every aspect of Japanese culture, thought, and life.
