The United States’ increasingly diverse population will create both challenges and opportunities. Diversity will change the face of America’s workplace- expanding organizations’ creativity, innovation, and productivity. However, with these opportunities we must also work harder to awaken our conscience. Not only must we become aware of unconscious assumptions, behaviors and biases, we must eliminate them. Nothing is gained if our moral sensitivities, ethical precepts and humanistic values are questionable. “What If” examines how most people create their perception based on personal biases without seeking factual information.
