“Porta Fidei” means “Door of Faith.” The show takes its name from the Holy Father’s Apostolic Letter announcing the Year of Faith. Born out of the desire to celebrate the Year of Faith on Catholic Radio, “Porta Fidei” takes a closer look at the Catechism of the Catholic Church with Fr. Jeffrey Kirby and Valerie Soop exploring and bringing to life this rich, yet often overlooked resource. In each episode of this weekly half-hour show, Fr. Kirby and Valerie tackle a small portion of the Catechism, unpacking its meaning through theological reflections and revealing its relevancy to daily life through personal stories.
