La oración es el pilar y la columna vertebral de la fe, es la llave del Paraíso y la mejor de las obras y acciones. Fue mencionada en más de cien aleyas en el Sagrado Corán, y muchísimas más en la Sunnah. Nuestro Profeta Muhammad (saw) nos recomendó con insistencia hacerla y advirtió a quienes no la realizan o la practican desganados. Se registra en el Corán que el profeta Ismael ordenaba a su familia el cumplimiento de la oración: “Y nárrales la historia de Ismael mencionada en el Libro. Siempre cumplió su palabra, fue Profeta y Mensajero. Exhortaba a su familia a realizar la oración y dar caridad, y así obtuvo la complacencia de Allah”. (19:54-55)
