When managing rheumatoid arthritis, monitoring disease progression is a cornerstone of effective treatment. "You can't manage what you don't measure." Strategies and tools for assessing disease activity must therefore be included as part of a comprehensive treatment armamentarium. Clinicians are also challenged with application of guidelines that do not seem to "fit" specific, complex, clinical circumstances. In this CME Outfitters Webcast, expert faculty will review the 2010 ACR/EULAR algorithm; recommend strategies and tools for assessing disease activity and provide insights for integrating evidence-based guidelines for the management of RA into clinical practice.
