In this episode, Matthew Luhn shares how to create feelings that change lives. Matthew comes from a long line of toy store owners. His parents owned a store called Jeffrey's Toys, the largest toy store in the San Francisco Bay Area.
He became the youngest animator for The Simpsons at the young age of 19 years old. His next stop was Pixar, where he was one of the first 12 animators for Toy Story. There, he discovered his passion for screen writing, a passion he's followed diligently. He's helped to write numerous blockbuster movies including Toy Story, Cars, Ratatouille, and Finding Nemo. He shares secrets from Pixar's success and how Steve Jobs propelled the company forward.
Today, Matthew is an educator. He teaches others about stories and helps them become better story tellers. As we discuss on this episode, he is well versed in the work of Joseph Campbell and inspired by Kurt Vonnegut.
