On the 8th February the IAB and some of the key players in Australian Digital Audio gathered at PwC Sydney for a presentation and discussions around the results of the IAB “Audio Advertising: State of the Nation” trade survey. The survey, supported and produced by ARN, Eardrum, Nova Entertainment, Pandora, SCA and Spotify, in conjunction with Hoop Group, reviews how agencies and marketers currently are using different forms of audio advertising including broadcast radio, DAB+, streaming digital audio and podcasts and delves into their plans for 2017. In addition to discussions around the survey findings, we also had a key presentation on creative opportunities for brands within Digital Audio space presented by Eardrum, followed by a panel session on the opportunities and challenges for the digital audio advertising sector in 2017. The panel included: - Chris Freel, Commercial Director ANZ, Pandora - Steve Brown, Head of Digital Sales, SCA - Geraint Davies, COO of iHeartRadio Australia - Andrea Ingham, Director of Sales ANZ, Spotify - Ashley Earnshaw, Chief Investement Officer, Carat
