Unlike debate and standard argumentation, conversing with people with whom you disagree has the goal of exposing flaws in thinking so that each participant can be closer to the truth by the end of the conversation and reach either a compromise or even agreement. A secondary goal or byproduct of the conversation is achieving a mutual understanding. I chose to record these conversations (with the permission of all parties involved) because I think everyone needs to have more and better conversations. By listening to others, one can learn what to do better as well as what not to do. This is an interactive podcast. Comment on each conversation and point out fallacies, manipulative tactics, or other problems that get in the way of what could otherwise be a productive conversation.
