My name is Zdenek and I'm a qualified English teacher from the Czech Republic. Back in 2013 I started this podcast to help myself achieve C2 level in speaking. Over the years, the podcast has found its audience and now it's no longer just a podcast where I practise my English. It's a place where I interview interesting guests (both native and non-native speakers) about interesting topics. Often these topics relate to the experience of learning English, but not just that. Sometimes, I simply interview my students or friends and we have a good ramble. I've also had some high profile guests on the podcast. When record alone, I talk about subjects that relate to my personal life including my experience of teaching English in London, the lockdown period, and taking various exams such as IELTS, CELTA, and DELTA. Sometimes I teach a specific language, too. Recently, I've also started doing live shows. So buckle up and come along for the ride.
