Why Bytes? Originally, a byte was any string of more than one bit that made up a simple piece of information.

My goal is to provide a bit of information that supports, helps and inspires baby boomers to live their best life via my Boomer Bytes Podcast.

We “Baby Boomers” were born between 1946 and 1964. We are known for our core values of optimism, team orientation, personal gratification, health and wellness, personal growth, youth (I have a mouthful to say about the pressure of looking 4-Ever young) work, contribution, involvement and love of family.

We baby boomers are retiring, downsizing, reorganizing and prioritizing how we live our lives.

Many like me, have lost a parent, some both, have lost a long time spouse, (like I did), have remarried (I have), or not, are grandparents, some are now taking care of their own parents.

If you’re a sibling, child, grandchild or family member of a baby boomer and have intrigue and curiosity about the baby boomers, the second largest segment of the population, please join the conversation.

I’ll be sharing bytes of life with intriguing guests and a variety of topics including aging with grace, relationships, estate planning, home and lifestyle, healthy living and of course travel, now that we have time to discover and explore amazing places.

Are you a baby boomer? Are you living your best life with ease or struggling a bit with burdens that feel overwhelming?

I don’t have the answers, but I believe it’s worth having a conversation
the following is from — Before the Coffee Gets Cold, by Toshikazu Kawaguch

Don't leave anything for later.

Later, the coffee gets cold.

Later, you lose interest.

Later, the day turns into night.

Later, people grow up.

Later, people grow old.

Later, life goes by.

Later, you regret not doing something...

When you had the chance.

Life is a fleeting dance, a delicate balance of moments that unfold before us, never to return in quite the same way again.

Regret is a bitter pill to swallow, a weight that bears down upon the soul with the burden of missed chances and unspoken words.

So, let us not leave anything for later. Let us seize the moments as they come, with hearts open and arms outstretched to embrace the possibilities that lie before us. For in the end, it is not the things we did that we regret, but the things we left undone, the words left unspoken, the dreams left unfulfilled.
Cheers! Here's to you living your best life!
