Straight Talk about Cosmetic Surgery. That's what you get when you listen to Dr. Arthur Perry and that's what his show, "What's Your Wrinkle?" is all about. Since December 2005, What’s Your Wrinkle aired on WOR and now Dr. Perry is pleased to move the show to WABC. Arthur Perry, MD, FACS is a board certified plastic surgeon and an Adjunct Associate Professor of Surgery at Columbia University and a Clinical Associate Professor of plastic surgery at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He has over 2 decades of experience as a clinical surgeon — suctioning fat, lifting faces, and injecting Botox in Manhattan and central New Jersey. Dr. Perry earned his medical degree with distinction in research from Union University’s Albany Medical College, and followed this with surgical, burn, and plastic surgery residencies at Harvard, Cornell, and the University of Chicago. He has been named to Castle Connolly’s “Best Doctors in the New York area” book each year for over a decade and has been twice named to New York Magazine’s Top Doctors list. Dr. Perry won the Volunteer Faculty Award for outstanding service at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson and received 2 national awards for his plastic surgery research. After a decade as the Governor’s appointee to the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners, The New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons awarded him the Distinguished Service Award for Outstanding Contributions to Plastic Surgery and to the Board. Dr. Perry has published many scientific papers and book chapters and is on the teaching faculty of the Columbia / Cornell plastic surgery residency program. He has served as an officer of both the Middlesex County Medical Society and the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Perry has written 4 books: Are You Considering Cosmetic Surgery (1997), Straight Talk about Cosmetic Surgery (received Foreword Magazine’s Gold Award for the top health book of 2007), You – Being Beautiful, (a New York Times 2008 best seller, co-authored with Drs. Michael Roizen and Mehmet Oz and Ted Spiker, Craig Wynett, and Lisa Oz), and Real Life of a Surgeon (2009). Dr. Perry’s next book, concentrating on women’s beauty, is expected soon. Dr. Perry is the cosmetic surgery expert and columnist for YouBeauty.com and is a member of the medical advisory board for the Doctor Oz television show. He is a frequent guest on television news shows and has appeared on the Dr. Oz show 9 times. Dr. Perry has created a revolutionary new skin care line headlined by his NightThyme nourishing serum.
