If you had to sum up your family in one phrase, what would it be? How would someone on the outside describe your family? Is that the way you want people to describe you? Today I’m talking to Erica Layne about crafting a family purpose statement. We talk about how to distill your unique family values down into a statement that you can teach to you kids. But it’s so much more than a cute saying or a family catch phrase. A family purpose statement can help you make decisions about what activities you will participate in, what job opportunities to explore, and how you’ll spend your money.
