The Artificial Intelligence Tidal Wave
We really can't ignore it any longer ... the TERMINATOR (Voice over that is), has arrived.
Today, I received, yet another email from a company selling robot voice overs claiming that they have added, "75 new synthetic ‘enhanced’ voices based on neural technology in over 39 languages and variants as part of our text-to-speech voiceover services."
That sounds good and all, but let's hear the proof. So I listened to the majority of the voices they allowed me to sample, and I have to say they are still a far way off from the complete takeover.
However, I wanted to offer you a different way of looking at the "Rise of the Machine."
In my mind, we can either fight the tidal wave, get out of the way, or ride that puppy. I want to explore the option of RIDING!!!!
Today's podcast is just my take on how I plan on keeping an eye out for an opportunity to jump in and use these services in my business.
