ABC Podcast: Alex and Brandon Chat

On this week's episode, Alex and Brandon chat to infinity and beyond.

Alex and Brandon are back to talk about all of the usual nonsense they usually talk about. There's no subscription box to open, but Brandon gives Alex a late birthday present, which you could say is purrrrrr-fect. After that, Alex launches into the week's ABC's of Geekdom segment about one scary bald guy (MAJOR spoilers from 3:35-14:00). Up next they cover corrections from the last week's show, including Firestorm, Obi-Wan/Ben Kenobi, the Sarlacc pit, Luke Skywalker, Pokémon, Superman, Dog with a Blog, Broly, the Black Flash, Willy Wonka, the Mad Hatter, Runescape, comics, and Alex adds to his nerdy middle school history with a few cartoons and a couple of video games.

After the break, they come back to talk about all of the news from the past week, including the trailer for the upcoming Max Steel movie, some more Pokémon news, a new Pokémon TCG card, Deathstroke, Gene Wilder, new amiibo, Jon Favreau returning to the MCU, a new Black Lightning tv show, a new actor coming to Game of Thrones, a New Warriors tv show, Metallo coming to Supergirl, an update on the Krypton tv show, Kurt Russell playing Star Lord's father/a living planet in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and an interesting detail about a Star Trek Discovery. With all of that taken care of, the boys do not one, but two new Top 5 lists and realize they will go sailing no more. After reading one listener email, they wrap up for the week with a shiny new Fan Fic Fights.
