We've got a hunger that can only be satisfied with a mouthful of White Castle Slyders. We hitch a ride on a cheetah with Rachel of Cannabis Heals Me to discuss this intelligent stoner comedy from 2004. Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle follows the life-changing and mind-altering journey of Korean-American investment banker. Harold (Roldy) Lee and Kumar Patel are two stoners who get a serious case of the munchies that can only be satisfied by the “perfect burgers” from White Castle. What should be a short trip across town, becomes a harrowing trip where they will encounter EXTREME obstacles including a rabid raccoon, a racist police officer, Freakshow and his hot wife, ride a cheetah and befriend NPH who’s trippin’ balls and steals their car. The boys overcome and discover something about themselves that makes them better people by the end. Show notes will post at: https://www.actualanarchy.com/132 Presented by www.ActualAnarchy.com Robert and I analyze popular movies from a Rothbardian/Anarcho-Capitalist perspective. We use movies as a starting point for people who may not be familiar with this way of thinking. Discussion of the plot and decisions that characters make in relation to morality and violations of the non-aggression principle are our bread and butter. We also will highlight and discuss any themes or lessons from Austrian Economics that we can glean from the film. The point is to show what anarchy actually is with instances that are presented in film. We publish at least once per week; and occasionally will do specials surrounding holidays or events (elections/olympics) and have guests. SUBSCRIBE, RATE AND REVIEW ON APPLE PODCASTS (or iTUNES)
