Brad Soden has made it his mission to make life easier for those who no longer have the mobility they hope for.
Brad is a combat army veteran who drove Bradley tanks during his military service. This experience became his inspiration for increased mobility when his wife Liz became paralyzed years later in an auto accident.

His wife was frustrated with the limitations of a standard wheelchair, so in 2004 he developed an all terrain hefty steel chassis supported by two gigantic caterpillar tracks, “capable of conquering sand, snow, gravel, rocks and mud” with their 12-inch wide rubber treads, and able to climb a gradient as steep as 10%.

Brad’s invention got the attention of a producer at Pixar in 2006, who invited him out to the company’s studios. He wore a cardboard box over his head and drove around in it, and quite literally became the inspiration for WALL-E, the trash-collecting robot in the movie of the same name.

Brad has since produced the Mongo, the mother of all power-chairs, which is capable of towing an 800kg trailer. Useful when you get a bit carried away with the grocery shopping. He is actively working on making improved accessibility available to those who need it.

Currently, Brad is in development for a network TV pilot.
