The first Scream is one of the most important films in horror history. It invented meta storytelling, Ghostface became an iconic character, and it delivered a number of memorable moments. In the quarter century since, there have been five sequels with very little change to the formula that made it initially successful.

So far, it has worked with each installment delivering a good time. Scream VI continues some of the trademarks of the franchise. Were they able to pull it off or is it starting to get stale? How well would the movie get along without Neve Campbell? Would they be able to pull off another great opening?

Taking a horror favorite out of a small setting and taking it to Manhattan has not fared so well in the past. How did Ghostface react to being in a much bigger city? Did the plot do a good job of incorporating the Big Apple or did it get to cute for its own good? Will the franchise be hitting the road again?

You cannot have a spoiler filled episode without taking about the ending. Surprisingly, one of us predicted one of the biggest moments of Scream VI. Not as surprising is one of us completely whiffed. Was the twist really that clever or did one of the best delivered lines of the franchise throw us off the scent?
