There is not a single person on the planet that wouldn't claim to want a more full life. All of us want more. Many of us will do whatever it takes to get more -but at what cost? What is the price you might pay for more?

The problem with our desire with more is that it often doesn't get us the results we are looking for. In fact, it ends up causing more problems than solving because, as Puff Daddy has always said - Mo Money, Mo Problems. Ok, I digress.

The question I want you to begin thinking about is this - is more really the answer? Maybe the barrier between you and this incredible full and amazing life isn't more of something - it's less of it.

Jesus said...

"I have come that they might have life and have it to the full." - John 10:10 LESS FOR A FULL LIFE

What is this "full" life that Jesus speaks of? Do I have to get something to get it? Do I need more of something? Not exactly. In fact, it's the complete opposite of what you and I may think that it is. Jesus is calling us to do and have less.

Jesus makes his case for this life he is calling us to with the story of The Rich Young Man, found in Matthew chapter 19. What we'll learn in our conversation today on the podcast was that it wasn't so much about what the young man did, did not do or what he had. It was about what he was willing to give up to obtain the full life Christ was calling him too.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN ON TODAY'S EPISODE
  • How obtaining more doesn't necessarily mean a better life.
  • The journey each of us needs to take in order to begin eliminating the barriers in our lives that keep us from Jesus.
  • How to identify what needs to be eliminated from your life in order to get the full life Jesus is calling us to.
