Meet Ghanaian performance poet, writer and publisher Nii Ayikwei Parke. Nii was a 2007 recipient of Ghana's national ACRAG award for poetry and literary advocacy. His début novel 'Tail of the Blue Bird' was shortlisted for the 2010 Commonwealth Prize and his work has been translated into Italian, French, Chinese, Dutch, German and Arabic.

During this session, we talk about work, life and parenthood from a Pan-African perspective, interpreting poetry and his journey having left a financially buoyant corporate career for a fulfilling life in creative writing, arts and social commentary.
