Ahonu had fierce, unexplainable resistance to moving from sunny San Diego and the warm Pacific ocean breezes of Southern California to the natural beauty of Central Oregon. What unfolded revealed past life trauma on the Oregon Trail as well as a modern day opportunity!
Wagon trains, dust, disease and death on the Oregon Trail came to full living memory for Ahonu as the weeks became days, and the days became hours before his move to be with family in Oregon. His resistance to reliving it grew into frozen shoulder, a symptom that emerged into a fully fledged memory of being shot on the trail, and a wagon wheel rolling over his shoulder on the great trek west of the early 1800's.
